How to be Naturally Wealthy

What is wealth to you?

Is it money? A big house and yacht and maybe a cabin in the mountains or a penthouse in Manhattan? If it is, STOP.

Being wealthy is a state of mind.

You have within you an enormous wealth of memories of positive experiences AND you have the ability until the end of time to continue to create more and more memories.

How do you know who to be when you wake up?

Because you REMEMBER. Our memories are incredibly important to us and shape our perception of all things. You can go to a party with your best friend and never leave each others’ side all evening and return home and remember very different things about it. Your memories are not always 100% accurate- yet you base EVERYTHING you know and do on what you remember.

Why not remember the GOOD things?

There is a tribe in Africa that have a very unorthodox way of dealing with unwanted behaviour. Whenever someone does something wrong they make that person stand in the middle of the field and the whole tribe surrounds them. The tribe members then start calling out POSITIVE THINGS about the person. It might be something he/she has done for them or simply the colour of their eyes.

The tribe might not have a 0 % crime rate but I can guarantee you it’ll be lower than anywhere else in the world. “If you flood them with positive, there simply isn’t room for negative”

Every single day something good happens to you- even if just for a second. It might be as simple as you smiling at a stranger and them smiling back at you.

Right now, think of an experience that has made you smile recently. Close your eyes and enhance that memory and the feelings that come with it. Can you feel that positive emotion that comes with that smile?

Even if it was only there for a second. Now that you have remembered it once, it will be easier to remember again and again and again. Live life KNOWING that you are the proud owner of a wealth of positive experiences.

Indulge yourself.

Look for the little things that make you feel good and take time to remember them. Then when you next feel a bit gloomy, relive them and enjoy…I promise you’ll feel better!
