My understanding of the Universe…
All major religions are basically the same. They believe in the good of the soul, an afterlife and heaven and hell. It is the smaller and less important facts that have been translated over and over again that have misled us.
Here it is, as I understand it…
We are all souls consisting of energy and our home is in another dimension. Another dimension is a place that could be where I am right now but vibrating on a different level and therefore I cannot see or touch it. Earth is “hell” and our home is “heaven”.
We leave our home “heaven” and come to Earth to learn. Our soul’s purpose is to learn about the universal laws and also about ourselves. We do this by coming to Earth, allowing all kinds of things to happen to us to see if we can leave the planet with our goodness still in tact. This, I believe, is the main goal.
Now, let’s start with the new soul. Imagine the soul as a bubble. It has a family it belongs to (cluster of bubbles). Just like families on Earth, we have a family in “heaven”. Our family is also called our soul group. Some souls in your soul group are your soul mates. These are souls that vibrate closely to your own vibration and have the ability to teach us things that others can’t. Each of us has more than one soul mate. Each soul belongs to a soul group and each soul has its own soul guides and angels.
Okay, I hope you’re still with me. If not, read the above paragraphs again slowly and allow your mind to open to the idea. I’m not saying you have to believe it, just open to it. Just like reading a fairy tale. Just allow it to soak in and at the end I’ll ask you a few questions.
We receive advice from our soul group and start planning our next life. With the help of our soul group and guides we start to design our life. We choose our body, our parents, our talents, spouses, children and we plan meetings- times and places where you will meet other members of your soul group. We also know which lessons we have to learn and need souls to come and teach us these lessons. We ask for soul mates to come and teach us. Some times they are hesitant to teach us because they love us and do not want to hurt anyone but they also understand that you need to grow. So, they agree to come and teach you about, anger, jealousy, guilt, forgiveness, patience, trust, love, etc.
Now, you have your life plan. This plan maps out the main events in your life. How you get from one to the next is your choice. This is where choice comes in. You have designed your life but once you incarnate you forget all of it and are left to your own devices. Your guides and angels follow you everywhere and with the help of the universe, nudge you in the right directions.
Yet, you still have a choice. The universe will prompt you and help you to live your designed life but it is still up to you which roads you take. If you deviate from the plan, so be it.
So you live your life and meet whom you are supposed to, do what you want to and hopefully learn what you need to.
Then you die. There have been tens of thousands accounts of near death experiences as well as regression therapy sessions and the story is always the same…
We die and enter “heaven”. The members of your soul group who have died or not yet reincarnated welcome you. It is a very joyous occasion and everybody is happy to have you home.
Then you have your life review. This is much the same as the day of reckoning in Christianity but there is one major difference. You are the only one who criticises. You view your whole life and experience everything again but this time you take the place of every single person whose life you have touched. You feel every emotion you have made others feel and you also see the effects all your actions have had.
You see opportunities that were overlooked in the rush and you see yourself as others saw you. This is a very difficult experience. Your soul family, guides and angels surround you and everybody is there in support of you. You are the only one criticising yourself. They radiate love and support and understanding. They know that you did the best you could at the time and are happy to have you home.
After the life review we continue our studies. We enter beautiful “halls of learning” where we are taught the laws of the universe and metaphysics.
We also review our karma. We recognise new karma that has been created in the last life and also karma that has been resolved.
Karma is a very important aspect of our lives in this universe. Remember the story about “what you sow, you shall reap”?
That is a definition of karma. I see karma as seeds that you plant in a field. As you go through this life, you sow seeds (karma). Each one of these seeds needs specific circumstances to start germinating. Every time you incarnate, the circumstances change and some of these seeds start to grow. This is the karma that will affect you in your present life. While you live this life you sow more seeds and when you incarnate again, you create new circumstances and then other (once dormant) seeds start to grow.
That means karma is carried over from life to life. Karma you created 10 life times ago can affect the life you live now.
After all the learning is done, we wait for the rest of our soul group to join us from Earth. They go through the exact same procedures we did and we are part of the welcoming committee when they arrive.
Once most of us are home again, we meet and start planning the next life.
We use wisdom obtained from our previous life as well as the lives of the members of our soul group. Meetings are arranged. This time your brother could be your mother and your teacher could be your sister.
And so we continue the cycle. Every time we die and go home, we assess our wisdom and decide how far we have come and which level we are on. There are 7 levels of spirituality.
I believe plants and animals are on level 1. Once you have learnt the necessary fauna and flora lessons, you progress to level 2. This is the entry level for humans. You might already know people on this level or you have seen them on Jerry Springer. When you have learnt the necessary lessons on level 2 you progress to level 3. I believe most of us are currently on level 3. It is my goal to learn enough and grow enough in this lifetime to allow myself to come back on level 4 next times. But it could also take me another or more lifetimes if I do not learn the necessary lessons. Level 5 is for very advanced souls like Jesus and Ghandi and Mother Theresa. Yes, I do not believe Jesus is God’s son- not in the biblical sense. I believe Jesus is a soul just like all of us. He is a more advanced soul and has more metaphysical knowledge than us and is more in contact with God (this explains the miracles) and is therefore on a higher level. Level 6 is for even more advanced souls. These souls can be seen as the “professors” of the soul world. They assist the evolution of life on planets, help to heal large-scale disruptive energy patterns and study the moral codes in intelligent life forms. Unfortunately we know very little about the 7 th level. This is for very advanced souls and I believe we enter this level when we are close to vibrating at the same frequency of light.
When we have learnt what was needed, released all negativity and we have freed ourselves from all shackles.
Disabled, abused and poverty stricken souls have come here to either resolve karma, learn a lesson or to teach us a lesson. They design a life of suffering to teach us the universal lessons of gratefulness, forgiveness and living in the moment. They are usually more advanced souls than the rest of us.
I do not believe in punishment. It is all a lesson. Guilt and self-blame are two of the lowest vibrations humans can experience. There is no point unless you are playing the victim card. And what does that do for you? You will only have to return and learn the same lessons again and go through the same struggles over and over again until you learn.
Who wants to do that? A lot of us by the look of it…
That is why what I currently believe makes sense. The god I read about in the Bible is impossible to perceive as loving. In my view God is all loving.
Which brings us to the next BIG question. Who or what is God?
In my humble opinion:
God is a concept- not a person.
I believe god is universal consciousness. Or more specifically: God is the conscious universal energy that connects all of us.
God is all the wisdom we as souls have obtained from the universe. God is all the love that is felt and God is everything else. God is not a person or a physical being. When we become quiet during meditation (prayer is a form of meditation) we can access God. We can tap into wisdom that has been collected for millions of years. All the answers are there. Where? Everywhere and in everything. In the soil, the leaves, the animals and in you. Yes, we are as much a part of God as it is of us.
Why do we believe that God will never give us too much to handle?
Because we are God and we design our lives.
God is a sacred concept. It is respected and coveted. It is what will remain when our souls eventually disappear. It will be everything that has ever happened to everybody.
Now, ask yourself one question:
Does this make sense? Is there even the remotest possibility that this makes more sense than the other things you have heard?
This way of thinking enables us to be the best we can be and to love ourselves for what we are.
Is it not better than to believe we have to be the least and to constantly berate and judge ourselves and everyone else?
Do you not feel better and lighter when you look at the world like this?
I am not asking you to adopt my complete way of thinking. What I am asking you to do is to start looking at yourself and others as individual souls on a continuous journey. Know that we have all come as students and as teachers and that both roles are equally important.
See each other for the souls we are and not the clothes we wear, the language we speak or the job we have.
There is still so much for us to learn…please don’t ever stop- you are contributing to God and everything we are.
I urge you to write about your own understanding of the universe. I am completely aware that I may be missing things and am happy to learn about your beliefs and to see if they make sense in my universe…
